How to use :
- In the United States, indoxacarb is registered for use to control lepidopteran insects on crops, turf grasses, and landscape ornamentals. It is also present in ant and cockroach baits and gels at concentrations of 0.05% to 0.6%, and at 20% for control of termites.
- Indoxacarb disrupts the normal function of the ant's sodium channels, causing dehydration and eventual death. Once it ingests the bait, the ant goes back to the colony and transfers the poison to other members through contact.
- Insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides, and fungicides are examples of well-known pesticides.
- Organophosphates and carbamates cause eye tearing, blurred vision, salivation, sweating, coughing, vomiting, and frequent bowel movements and urination. Blood pressure can decrease. Heart rate can decrease and become erratic and seizures can occur.
